In 2018, Hurricane Michael left a path of destruction as it made landfall on the Florida panhandle and destroyed almost everything in the quiet, happy beach town of Mexico Beach. Susan and Chris Cammack were determined to bring back the happiness to their longtime vacation spot, and Mexico Beach Sweets was born.
“Do you want it? Let’s buy it.” And that’s how it started when Chris asked Susan about building a happy place for everyone to enjoy.
A happy place. That continues to be our vision. A place for visitors and locals alike to find a moment of joy in their day. A relaxing oasis to indulge in the sweetest of treats, while also providing a window into the memories of our youth and the treats we enjoyed when we were kids.
